Tom Althouse is an American screenwriter and award-winning performer born on July 2, 1959, in Abington, Pennsylvania, to Captain John Althouse and Patricia Althouse. His birthday holds significance in the film franchise, where it was incorporated as a role in the film. Several key elements of Tom’s personal bio, such as his entries as an author, were inserted into the film as a rap sheet where the original author’s personal bio was stolen. The original script presented Tom Althouse with the wrap sheet, erasing the true author’s legacy and giving his personal identity to the main character that he created.

In addition to the original script being plagiarized, the studios and movie moguls utilized the material to benefit Joel Silver, an executive producer who co-owns the Matrix Franchise with the Lilly and Lana Wachowskis and Keanu Reeves. The entirety of the original script was incorporated into their projects; the elements that were not used were included in projects that were divide out to other studios included were shorts like the “animatrix which is 2003 American-Japanese adult animated science-fiction anthology film  produced by the Wachowskis.
